4/20 at the Dunnellon Airport

Another entertaining and thoughtful course design at Dunnellon. It was fun overdriving it on my first two runs, even more fun getting the hang of smooth is fast. I think I connected pretty well going out but never got that diagonal wall coming back right. Picking the right line in the turnaround was...

April 7 - The Long Brooksville Goodbye

Great event. My guests had a good time and were very impressed with how well things are done at FAST. Thank you Ken T and Dave W for taking my guests for rides. They loved it! Our daughter, who hauls her kids around in a CRV, did pretty well her first time out in a car she's never driven. I don't kn...

Ruh roh, now we're gonna have Loren in the S4 mix. Lol

I guess if I'm staying stock I should seriously consider some better shocks than these worn out stockers.

The "cheap burger, 'cause I gotta buy tires" budget? [emoji38]

Looks like you could use a bit more tire pressure to get a little more out of the center of the tread. yeah we've been as low as 43psi and bumped it up gradually to 48. An earlier flip would have helped too (we were close to 100 runs without a flip) ..and last 2 events were counterclockwise turnaro...

What I should have done was walked around grid, shouting "Steve says he has 20 bucks and he can beat your best in your car!" ahhh...afterthought. I was too focused analyzing in my head about 'what to do with tires' to consider my last two rides. Thank you for the generous thoughts :) This was indeed...

...but to save face for my foot and mouth, I predict that once you get out of LSD / 205 jail, this will not be your last mod [emoji16].

sounds like you've committed but I would add one car to the list (for future reference of course [emoji16]). 2015 Launch Edition Golf. Two door, 5 speed manual, supposedly weighs 2900, 170 crank horsepower, decent torque. IRS. Good aftermarket part / boost / engine analysis support. Guys show dynos ...
