Sep 7 Pointless Lakeland event

The driver that drove past 5 red flags was very apologetic. He honestly did not see them. This is why flag holders have to be vigorous and energetic with the flags. Waving casually typically won't get seen quickly. Drivers are focusing on their line. I went off on my 3rd run - not lost, just oversh...

Sep 7 Pointless Lakeland event

I was disappointed in the course though. I had two DNFs and was frustrated trying to learn the course instead of trying to go faster on the course. I suspect a lot of folks were in the same boat. R1 - What's eligible?

I'm not savvy enough to tell - the proposed language would eliminate shifter karts, or other true go-karts, right?

And, since the "R" was for race tires, but that's not necessarily it, shall we also change the class name? Maybe "X" or some such catch-all?

The red flag scenario was wild. Yeah...I caused one of those red flags...overshot the entry to the sweeper after the slalom and thought I could get back on course after the wall. I realized later that we closed up that wall during setup. Ran all the way around the back side/outside the wall... Oops...

Wow, that was a marathon. Many thanks to all the courseworkers who manned their posts for about 90 minutes per group - all day. To the teardown crew and Ben and everyone else who helped pack up: Thank you! To Bill and Rachel: hope y'all had a great time. Congrats, Bill, for your Member of the Year c...

Just do it.
- this is a "pot luck" - contributed dishes traditionally are a mystery
- no two potato salads are equal
- we'll likely have over 50 attendees. No one person will bring enough potato salad.
