FAST Open Autocross - SUNDAY, May 26 - Lakeland

In a surprise to no one the new car is down and out. Looking for a co-drive, I don't care about points so I'm open to anything or car jumping. Farm truck you need to rethink things. A "boat" is the hole in the water one throws money into. You aren't even up to "boat" yet. What will float Philip's b...

Painting a Miata

Ben must be shaking his head by now? This is way past the realm of the last two projects.

Looks you can get away parking them next to each other but you won't be able to put the hardtop on the other car. Clash. No more cookies when she sees that.

Gotcha. Never known anyone who didn't change camber and toe for the highway or just trailer the car to and from events to save the tires. A first for everything. :salute:

May 4 FAST Open @ Dunnellon

I felt the car just gliding over the water. Kinda spooky . :headscratch: Apparently the modern AWD is inferior to the ones in '90's cars with mechanical LSD's and magic oil in the transfer case? R DOT tires only had two rain grooves driven to and from local events. They did take longer to stop tho'...

Two skills I've done completely right, once each, and never took another dime out of the tradesmen's pockets. Car Painters and Electricians. Amen.

TESLA needs your cost cutting skills. Guess you'll have to end up calling it something more than S5000 now? Still amazing considering what you've done to that car. DROF works too since you turned it inside out. DROF 6000GT?

255's on a GTi is like putting arm floats on a duck. If it corners like a duck and honks like a duck. DOH.

Should be my first real event in the NB. Can't wait to see what breaks this time. I think Ford still owned 30% of Mazda then. You're almost home when you replace all those parts. Keep the radio volume knob working to hide the falling off parts noises. Get AAA+ for 100 mile tow or get AAA deluxe for...

Paint Prep Tech Session - Loren's Groj - Sat, April 13

Was very seriously considering a bike ride by the groj again tomorrow, but after a horrible week, I decided to drink beer tonight instead. Will wake and gorge on chicken eggs and pig part patties to break nightly fast. Mebbe bagels, too. Fare thee well groj dwellers. Translation? Drew painted the t...

Cool to know. I have an extra plate in my tool box which I assume is still good? Cool to know about the temp tag tho' to avoid the big $ hit. Another + for the professor.

Your "not a project" is going to break your heart. If you would have paid Ben more he would have painted it "lust" yellow.

April 7 - The Long Brooksville Goodbye

So what was up with the white pickup? I remember using a Goodyear parking lot in Akron and putting any forgotten employee cars at the center of turnarounds. Trains don't fall off the inside of a track:)

Will pay top dollar! What are we talking here? Farm Truck. Easter is a good time for "redemption". I just got the clutch pedal assy replaced on the Rex. It's slicker than a Miata on STP. You'll have to put the old RS4 race tires on the Vic back on it or run on WD Conti's. Will it survive for my fam...

Once upon a time: I drove a virgin car to a Kokomo event Tour a long time ago. Drove 300 miles to event no issues. Filled up car with premium upon arrival. Within 10 minutes car ran for shit with little power. Assumed bad gas. Others who use the same station had no issues but shit pants knowing my c...
