Paint Prep Tech Session - Loren's Groj - Sat, April 13

Was very seriously considering a bike ride by the groj again tomorrow, but after a horrible week, I decided to drink beer tonight instead. Will wake and gorge on chicken eggs and pig part patties to break nightly fast. Mebbe bagels, too. Fare thee well groj dwellers. Translation? Drew painted the t...

Cool to know. I have an extra plate in my tool box which I assume is still good? Cool to know about the temp tag tho' to avoid the big $ hit. Another + for the professor.

Your "not a project" is going to break your heart. If you would have paid Ben more he would have painted it "lust" yellow.

How can you do that? That's odd.

April 7 - The Long Brooksville Goodbye

So what was up with the white pickup? I remember using a Goodyear parking lot in Akron and putting any forgotten employee cars at the center of turnarounds. Trains don't fall off the inside of a track:)

Will pay top dollar! What are we talking here? Farm Truck. Easter is a good time for "redemption". I just got the clutch pedal assy replaced on the Rex. It's slicker than a Miata on STP. You'll have to put the old RS4 race tires on the Vic back on it or run on WD Conti's. Will it survive for my fam...

Tune 'n' 'charge 'n' tune

Once upon a time: I drove a virgin car to a Kokomo event Tour a long time ago. Drove 300 miles to event no issues. Filled up car with premium upon arrival. Within 10 minutes car ran for shit with little power. Assumed bad gas. Others who use the same station had no issues but shit pants knowing my c...

Only takes a little blob of dirt or crappy gas/goo.
I ran fine and then my heel swelled up and stopped me cold an hour later.

I used to send my injectors away to get them tested/cleaned and new o rings every 10 years or so. You could have two never shutting off or just plain not putting out but a drip. So you being cheap and this being really cheap therapy you should simply swap the good injectors with the dead ones for a ...

Seriously, you have way too many options. Fix it and make the oil slosh go away too. Or just fail. I am more into a used Maserati/low miles than a fucked up pickup truck.

Porsche indy in Pinellas County?

Ron, If you want quality at a reasonable price and aren't a rug pacer which I know you aren't. My friend "Bad Bob" who lives in Venice takes all his Porsche repairs to the following person who keeps him out of bankruptcy almost every year it seems. He's been around long enough to know about every mo...

No AC sucks big time. Oil light on acceleration sucks/dangerous. Having to use a laptop to make it run sucks even more. Not a geek. Back to carb. Dry sump? So what do you think the Dealer will give you? They offered $3500 for wife's pristine C5 2 years ago against two different Rams (one bent) which...

Get the prophylactic with the reservoir tip.
Or just sign on the dotted line to land the whopper. BOGO now at Burger King. I have coupons. I'm learning still. I know you all will xcross in my driveway when there isn't an alternative.

So you'll know about renting existing race facilities as a group. I priced out a couple for fun events, drag strip, ovals a couple years back. The killer was that they require an on site EMT staff for the whole event on us in addition to the hefty track/staff rental fee. That kills it for a small cl...
