Mirage Heart Transplant

If it didn't take too long it would be worth the time of returning the car to stock form to make them fix it. We love a great story. Who makes a tranny that will shift into first gear at that rpm? Nobody. Should have been a lock out making it their fault. Just sayin'. How much does a Hyundai lemon c...

Trailer fix-up day Nov 10

Yep. Steve, Matt and I made the trailer last for 2 years. Had a great day of male bonding. I learned the superiority of a corded drill over a fancy battery one. A great day in St Pete which I never had before.

That's the FIRM FL State Championship weekend. You might lose a few workers. Has it really been two years? We did good work then!! I booked a room incase I still have enough tires left for it?

Or just ban skinny fast cars. Fat fat cars hit cones every run. Except for me :) You guys with trick cars better show up to help replace his unit

Oct 20th means FALL is in the air - for some.

Well, there is no way Dan is going to beat Loren this year in the Mirage race car. Unless? He gets a Hearst lightning rod shifter out of an Olds. Or? The event is run only in top of 2nd gear? Or Loren gets a power glide:) Personally I cannot imagine being able to get my RX8 into 1st over 30mph witho...

I always seem to run shorter dia tires to lower the car and increase the diff ratio which make my speedo read 7-10% higher than reality. Also keeps me from getting speeding tickets:) Looks impressive tho in a video. :binky:

http://drivefast.org/results/results-archive/ Faster than a stumbling tongue Loren posted the results for all you morning folks to see if your efforts were good enough. Some were, some weren't. I got the last sticker in S1 by .008 which won't make the AM person happy. I got beaten by two Nationally ...

FAST Cone T-Shirts - Order by Nov 3!

I was hoping for some "no sweat" FAST underwear with a nice permanent racing stripe so I don't have to provide my own.

Too late for Happy BD. Never race your daily driver. Asshole Doug for a co-drive instead :wise: Why didn't your lady friend take you out on your BD? Even my Ex-wife went autocrossing with me twice on a Sunday (and she was a Jesus freak).

We love you for being so much like "no shoes". :lust:

So what was the rush? Do like Steve and keep it a hobby, borrow cars and keep a smiling lady friend. Let your lack of sleep be for a better reason than an autocross car :wise:

I was quoted $14k+ to provide/install a new LS3 and GM 6 speed trans into a clean/blown engine RX8 by a well known professional 4 years ago. Then he changed his mind for some unknown reason? Didn't die or quit - as I checked. Just ceased all communication with me. Computer tango? Probably, as RX8 ha...

Jr's College will be paid for if you keep on putting bullet proof V8's in people's slow ass cars with a pix update for the payer.

I'm going to go throw up now as that car is just plain sick and it's catching. Flu shot tomorrow for sure. Probably a 2nd pneumonia update too.

10/12-10/14 Motor Swap Help

This is the Grassroots $2018 weekend followed by the PCA autocross Sunday. A lot of wrenches will be occupied there.

Best of luck on your swap. You certainly seem to know what you are doing so far. How many times does 2002 go into 1990? .994 times.
