FAST Classic Autocross - Sep 8 @ Brooksville

Look it's just a matter of time. S3 needs to fill up with a lot of wannabee's. I've got 20lbs/HP facing them. Shouldn't be too hard for them to win? Or never come back. That's sort of my quandary. I want them to come back. I also want to kick their butts. I'll decide next week. At least wife would g...

Miata questions

So I picked up a 99 miata. Full bench press or clean and jerk? Errybody drinkin' the kool aid. Good ole Drew is always good for a chuckle. And accurate too. No kool aid here....I've had nothin but love for miata"s for at least a week now maybe 2 So I took Miata wheels and tires and stuck them on a ...

2018-19 Season - What's goin' down?

Uranus is still a planet. Since some silly ass decided to keep a 4 door car in C Stock with no torque or big HP I put the WD summer Continentals back on the RX8 for rain days in S1. Vette has got some tread left on the Bridgestones for at least 5 events when a lot of people show up? NOT. Then there ...

Learned a lot and had a couple good laughs along the way. The food is always extraordinary. Loren and Dan are never wrong about food. Les has the best Soul I've ever seen. I want one too. :lust: (An actual Soul I mean.)

The word of the day is Sobramesa. Since you put it "that" way. Maria says she's up for a FAST evening tomorrow. I simply assumed that's what she meant? Life is never what one expects. We'll be there by 7ish as soon as I find the MapQuest again. I was going to go help Rob up North but he's running h...

I always used 1/4" (6mm?) spacers on the front ONLY of my SCCA stock AWD with a stiff rear shock setting and it made a world of difference for turn in. Hubs on AWD are really strong. Never had to replace one in 10 years. Most cars have plenty of threads to allow that (except an 84-85 GSLSE RX7 neede...

Trying to figure what goes with Mexican? Tequila is out for sure. That's all. I'll sign up if Joe and Ms Joe bring the roast corn again. I'm kind of a Corny guy.

July 28 - 2018 Season Finale!

I'm gonna go ahead and concur with Les on course design. Walking it, it felt like it wouldn't be anything special; just slaloms. But it was fantastic to drive. Challenging, but enough space to carry speed in a car that has trouble building it up. As quite a few people noticed, I wasn't in the car t...

Tell Farm Truck to start a "go fund me account" for Nationals.

He might be surprised. He has a lot of friends in xcross to help him. Hopefully, someone with a "proper" car will let him co-drive instead of his shithouse?

I don't do facebook but I will send him a paypal?

Congrats on picking the right day for the last event. I paid a local carwash detailer place $45 to do my headlights. It took about 3 months for it to finally harden but they look nice now. You are very ambitious.

You are constantly full of surprises. I thought the C4 has a funky shift pattern in the valve body? Or are you going to make it a manual shift using a revised unit? I assume the slush box is a lot less hassle to install with quicker shifts and fewer parts than a stick. I've always been a fan of torq...
