Self Isolation in the Garage - Post Your Car Projects
How will your automatic transmission handle the IS20 and the extra torque it produces? Or are we going to see some crazy DSG swap into it

Local roll cage fabrication?
Maybe Mike Orgen up in Brooksville across the street from the airport? He was a regular at the Corvette autocrosses, and him and his son are involved with SCCA club racing. Not sure if he did the cages himself but he could point you in the right direction

Self Isolation in the Garage - Post Your Car Projects
Forum posts seem to mention those with ABS having the rear brakes wear faster than the fronts. Now that you mention it, most of my later Hondas behaved like that. Well for sure my rwd RX8 wore out 2 sets of rear pads to one front set but I attributed that to traction control. Doesn't explain a fwd ...

Self Isolation in the Garage - Post Your Car Projects
Did my rear brakes, somehow they wore down to the halfway mark for only 15k or so miles on the pads (installed right around the time I did the motor swap). Decided to put in new slide pins just to see if they were bad as I did have a seized on me due to the pins being dry. Going to observe how they ...

with Falken coming out with a 245/40/15 and you having those 15x8s, I'd give STH a shot since it doesn't seem like you should have to make that many changes to the wagon. I think STH is mostly wide open, most people don't seem to stick long enough to run their turbo hot hatch for a long time due to ...

I still haven't cracked that taveres surface, feels like it is always different Yeah it’s been awhile since I’ve got to tinker with the car but if I remember right I’m at 4 1/4” front and 4 1/2” rear, and 13 clicks from full soft front and rear. I have the FM sways that I usually run the front on fu...

I ended up replacing all my hubs + wheel bearings since one of my front studs had some messed up threads and was not grabbing enough threads when I put my spacers on my street tires. I put in 10mm longer studs on the new hubs and I was able to DIY my rears. Had a shop I know in Tampa do the fronts. ...

Most of the affordable options, I wonder if they get enough heat for autocross vs say a track like the FIRM or Sebring. Hoosier A7 would, but not sure about the others. The one thing I recall with running r comps, is when they let go, they let go. Some 200tw tires do this too, but rcomps don't give ...

Feb 15 @ Venice - It was cool!
Enjoyed the course and thought it was great use of the available space at venice. I do have a question, what was the best way to approach that turn around? I noticed Philip went further out than I did. Between Venice's Taveres like grip in that section to the end of the turn around's cone being furt...

Never expected a power course at Venice. It was a blast! Fun watching Steve and Loren duke it out in M4. My off-road adventure was amusing; nice of Steve to shield me from the wave of dirt :) Got some car cleaning to do tomorrow. Did you have the 15x8s mounted for Sat's event? If so how did it feel...

And even more appreciation to Gene for the co-drive. :notworthy: Awesome car that neither of us really found the limits for - it's stock and totally capable of FTD if driven well. My first run was my fastest, and I couldn't repeat it try as I did. I'm thinking it was truly a matter of pushing harde...

I did, I removed my early session and changed it to "both" and I am only being charged for both sessions and not early + both which is correct, but it shows me on there twice for early. Should have clarified it was changing from early to both, not early to afternoon. I get this message: The registra...
