RX8 Project

Calling the mayor! I recall doug was actually selling a 17x9 trmotorsports combo for the rx8 with either 255/40 or 245/40 tires. It seems the RX8 can also fit a decent amount of tire too. He also had some weird trick to max out the camber on stock suspension, but when a recall was performed, he lost...

Oct 12 Classic - Venice

Going right was the least painful for me and I should have done it more, but I really didn't enjoy the course, it was frustrating and not fun. Gopro for some reason didn't charge so no video from me.

I enjoyed the practice course more.

September 28 Points Event

6th place in m3 with a 23.961, :bangwall: lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEGxbbQ6amE It felt like it was pushing more than usual today. Talking to Kyle about the bump at the slalom, it really seemed setup dependent, we both didn't notice it bothering us. Then again at dunnellon, there was a bum...

Sep 7 Pointless Lakeland event

I think my integra works well at lakeland, it is easy to get the rear end to rotate and it feels predictable and none of the banging off the 2nd gear limiter I get at the runway courses. Though it needs a better driver :rolling: I enjoyed the course, it rewarded you if you for looking just ahead eno...

The Massive Evo That Couldn't

Lot's of while you are in there stuff when doing timing belts.

How are the parts availability for the OEM stuff? Seems something to be concerned about with mitsubitshi being unstable? I remember seeing on the news a few months back the dealership in Tampa just closed one day...

I'd watch out for those blow off spacers and losing boost, I recall several friends with VWs that had similar spacers lost power or had weird issues with it that went away when it was removed...

Gear Ratios and You

I would hold off on the swap for now especially with the smaller sites we are running now, the tight gears will keep you in the powerband from the slow sections sections that may require power to dig out. But I can see it being annoying at a runway site where there are times you'll be in no gear lan...

so when are you getting your APR intercooler? Those IATs could be down a few temps during the summer

Anyways, if I was more tech savvy I’d post a screenshot of the cone I was talking about. But I’m lucky I figured out how to embed YouTube videos so it’s the best I’ve got. I can't stop laughing at this Wow, you're right! How did we not catch that? I didnt even notice until now. Beats me, I wonder w...

Used to see them at Corvette events mostly. Practicing for LeMons. One was a trailered Frankenstein pickup. I think Andrew drove that one? Yep driven it when it had a Nissan Vg30 and when it went L98. A friend of Kyle and I got to drive it before the body panels were put on to meet Chump (champcar'...

I think with your rotiforms being et40 may help vs the commonly sold et45 wheels, but find out about the inner barrel clearance with how the wheel is designed and offset clearance. I know some wheels like the rpf1, they start sloping inward due to the spokes which makes them big brake unfriendly wit...

What is the turn around time for the rotiforms? Hopefully the weight is reasonable. If they are under 20 lbs, it would be perfect.

Didn't want to try 17x9 with the same offset? Especially if the ruleset allows the wider option when you compete in scca too?
