Rob. You are an immortal in FAST racing. I worship your ass. But not as much as your brain.
Go Rob.

Cooling fan "fireside" chat...

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/der-16749/reviews/ Matt I looked into this today while you are racing. Summit Racing sells those Spal fans so I read a few reviews. They can pull a lot of continuous amps which will melt wires and controllers. I found two guys had the same issue. "Short in the base...

Cooling fan "fireside" chat...

Would be a simple matter to hot wire each fan to see if the motors are still good. Not quite sure why that is a 30amp relay? Lot of juice for small motors and lights. Wonder if a PO messed with something for a stereo amp? I found a 60A fused connection coming off my + lead for a removed stereo once....

Cooling fan "fireside" chat...

So I have struggled with these fans since the harness started melting at the relay. Now the fans won't run unless I put a jumper wire between the power and the fan wire. So either the relay I bought a few weeks back is bad, or I'm wiring it wrong. There must be an internal short in the relay to get...

Are your stock engine mounts filled with oil like mine are? Mine leaked out. Had to replace. You might want to put a solid limiter from engine to fender like I used to do on my old Fords with stock mounts.

2020 Rule Change Ideas

In the Millennial spirit. Anyone who wants a "participant t shirt" can buy one for $20. Actually winners are "free" assuming they sign up for one? S1 will only have one person sign up for a 3rd place t shirt and ACTUALLY show up at the picnic this year? A T shirt isn't worth a set of adjustable shoc...

I'm not sure what we could do to help R1 along. Have them bring co-drivers more often? Detune Elliot's car again like when he had an electrical issue? Nah, he has always been one of my benchmarks for times. It's an entertaining class that doesn't hit a lot of cones. Too bad more people don't have a...

Geezus Andrew. I was so proud of myself learning to set up a TracFone Android that cost $42 delivered yesterday. Mostly because my old camera died with 1/2 the capability and I wanted to get a couple things that only work with a Smart phone (aka small laptop). Any 2 year old could have done it for m...

I'm going to go crawl under a rock now. Don't feel bad I spent an hour spraying weeds with killer only to learn a couple days later I forgot to put the concentrate in 2 months ago. So basically I watered only the weeds. They are dead now tho' probably a surprise to them? Hopefully your car stays al...

It's not about HP it's about HP/torque. The "other" 3 cyl with a turbo is putting out a shit ton more HP/torque with NO trick suspension or big rims. Somehow we lost the "power doesn't matter" blog? :buck: The Mirage is a "mirage". DOH. :bulb:

That is mysterious with your alleged insane negative camber going on? Maybe you love toe in? Dude you have ...
