June 15 @ Dunnellon - Killer Course!

What else is there to say? It was a perfect day of autocross! :wise: ANY day of autocross is better than ANY other day. :wise: Kind of like fishing, or smoking (your tires) ,or sitting thru an opera, or a Brahms's symphony or pushing a lawn mower very slowly with a bad back, or getting a white circ...

I sold the temp seats for the Vette and pinched a nerve taking them out and putting the old refurbished ones back. Shit. Race while you can chipmunks. :wise: Cars sitting on trickle charger life support now. Just like Rob. R+D organic failure.

Water run off So funny!!!!!!! You have all wheel drive you’ll be fine. You missed his comment a while back about having massive negative camber so runs on the inside of the tires like skis. All the time not just on race day!! A Miata or Mirage (the other M word) on MS 195 tires can beat him in the ...

Not to worry. I'll drive it for you. I can also shift gears....ever so slowly. I can even finish it for you but it would suck really bad like "Road Kill" people. Better you should finish it and drive the shit out of it. :wise:

The Massive Evo That Couldn't

It's good you've learned to keep it running yourself. Renault won't be making any parts for it ever. Nor will Fiat. End of an era. MisterBitchi made great cars back in the day even when they co-built with Diamond Star/Chrysler 20 years ago. :lust:

Ouch. First responders have a tough life. I've always tried to be a last responder but still have occasional lower back issues from lifting stuff by myself I shouldn't have in old age. Looks like you are getting close tho'. Maybe the automatic would have been a better choice under the current circum...

Geeze Louise. Leave the car with me for a couple years and I'll eventually tell you it's "perfect". It's a frickin' old Miata not a Vette or some exotic stuff from Italy. I'll figure it out eventually. I'll let you know when the tires smoke. Ok? No charge if you bring all your parts. **Actually you ...

I think you're grossly over underestimating how much money I put into the Mirage. There. Fixed that for you. We are being kind. At least Rob told us he was overbudget on his last Stang. BUT his car is awesome. Renault owns Nissan and Mitsubishi and Fiat has offered to Merge with them making ...

He's got a lot of catching up to do if he wants 1st in M0 . Mike never wanted that. What you wrote is so funny in so many ways. Oldies do this for fun with old equipment. There needs to be a "'most expensive t-shirt" then you and Loren will be toe to toe for what you both spent this year for a shir...

And for those wondering, my car is carbureted so the sputter is fuel slosh from the bowls. It floods itself under hard turns. May need fuel injection! Contact the carb engineering on that. I was able to get a proper float height setting to correct that and an accurate psi fuel input setting if you ...

In a surprise to no one the new car is down and out. Looking for a co-drive, I don't care about points so I'm open to anything or car jumping. Farm truck you need to rethink things. A "boat" is the hole in the water one throws money into. You aren't even up to "boat" yet. What will float Philip's b...

Ben must be shaking his head by now? This is way past the realm of the last two projects.

Looks you can get away parking them next to each other but you won't be able to put the hardtop on the other car. Clash. No more cookies when she sees that.

Gotcha. Never known anyone who didn't change camber and toe for the highway or just trailer the car to and from events to save the tires. A first for everything. :salute:

I felt the car just gliding over the water. Kinda spooky . :headscratch: Apparently the modern AWD is inferior to the ones in '90's cars with mechanical LSD's and magic oil in the transfer case? R DOT tires only had two rain grooves driven to and from local events. They did take longer to stop tho'...

TESLA needs your cost cutting skills. Guess you'll have to end up calling it something more than S5000 now? Still amazing considering what you've done to that car. DROF works too since you turned it inside out. DROF 6000GT?
