The Massive Evo That Couldn't

So I had a bad squeak going on sounding like it was from a carrier baring from my driveshaft. Swapped my driveshaft with a used one. No more squeak :thumbwink:

Rear bang over bumps/railroad tracks

Yeah, that's pretty standard procedure. You don't want the bushings to be all bound up at static ride height. Never thought about it causing that particular problem. But, it makes sense. Yea its crazy it made THAT big of a difference. The real test will be lakeland, We'll need a car for the test ru...

Rear bang over bumps/railroad tracks

So this issue I've been having since I've installed the coilovers is now gone. tl;dr of the problem I had was when going over some certain bumps like train tracks, pretty much anything that has a big quick up and down would cause my rear to pogo pretty badly. So in a thread on the Evo forums someone...

Lot's of while you are in there stuff when doing timing belts. How are the parts availability for the OEM stuff? Seems something to be concerned about with mitsubitshi being unstable? I remember seeing on the news a few months back the dealership in Tampa just closed one day... The parts are no pro...

Already done about a month ago. 2. The whole timing, balance, and serpentine pullies, belts, tensioners, t...

Unusual Classing for 2020

All 4cyl turbo AWD cars(I think all of em) are in D street now. So if I remember correctly, Subaru sti, golf R (2018 is b street), evos now are D street.

FAST Autocross - Sep 7 - Lakeland

I could do a simple 20-second course and people will still find ways to get lost. I try to make the courses longer and more interesting. Walk the course. Learn to look ahead. Course looks great! .... maybe a little rain Noooooo, you get so many death stares. People dont like it when our cars are in...

FAST Autocross - Sep 7 - Lakeland

No doubt the course will be good, but I remember back at TBD we had a course where a bunch of people kept getting lost. The course map just gave me flash backs. TBD course Im talking about. NOT THIS EVENTS COURSE MAP. IF YOU USE THIS MAP YOU'LL GET LOST JUST LIKE HACKETT DID 3X  http://drivefas...

Daniel come play with me in m1 next season. I won't make it to the dunellon or venice events anyway so it could be a free championship. It doesn't make sense for your evo to go from m1, to m0, to m2 anyway :headscratch: :rolling: Free championships are no fun, plus Philip is in M1 so that def isn't...
