I have multiple sets of spring compressors you would be welcome too, though I won't have time to deliver them.. but you shouldn't need spring compressors to install a set of coilovers should you?
Out of the mildest curiosity, do you have Ohlins on the banana?
Nah, I'm not ballr enough for Ohlins, I don't even have coilovers, just good old fashioned leaf springs like a Model T. That's why I'm so slow... And you didn't answer the question.
Sorry, are you fronting cash for my purchases these days?

There's a fair chance I may have to move the date here - mother nature had decided to change up the plan, suppose I should know in the morning most likely!

They're actually back on road now after being parked for two days... I asked for a station hold for pickup since it's normally 2 days door to door - I might actually end up with them tomorrow afternoon depending on when the truck comes in, maybe get to fool around with them on Sunday.

Otherwise I'll have to push to next weekend or something.

Next Saturday is the FAST event in Dunellen and next Sunday is an SCCA autocross at Brooksville. I know not a lot of FAST people go to the SCCA events but some do.

Dunnellon event is on Saturday. You could plan for Sunday.

Unless you're like Dassatti and just knock it out before then. You know, like, be done with it an hour and 20 minutes after the box hits your door.

Not to step on any toes, but if this isn't happening... I'll be working on turning metal into slivers, sparks and dust in my garage tomorrow. Guests are welcome.

Sure Loren - just steal everything... :thumbwink: Tomorrow is a no go on my end; If I beat the odds and manage to get the goods from the hold station, maybe I'll try Sunday.

I think I'm gonna buy that awesome winning car Joe B found and pay for it by selling all the go fast parts to FAST guys and still end up with a T Shirt in some M class. :smack:

could be worse, you could be installing konis, have to modify parts without the proper tools, be up way too late.... and realize you're only half way there, bon jovi.

oh a good note, my leaking shocks and rusted control arm bolts are no longer an issue. hope your yob goes much more smoothly.

Thanks, the liability with the NC, other than me not really knowing what I'm doing, appears to be salvaging the top hats of the rears... maybe I'll go ahead and pull those off in advance and see what I'm in for.

Unfortunately, looks like my coilovers are to sitting in the back of a trailer outside of ybor until Monday.

It's not hard to get the rear hats out. As I recall, they are reused because they're a pretty significant piece of engineering. Big ol' chunk of cast aluminum. Would be expensive to replicate... or to improve upon.

Yeah, I looked online, they're big and $86 a pop, so yes, reusing.

Cookies didn't happen. (Cathy is dieting, and I can't eat a whole batch of cookies by myself!) But, lots of cutting and grinding happened.
